This stunning Tasmanian Blackwood Jewel Box Features:
- Box Dimensions: 25cm wide x 30cm long x 9cm tall
- Half Tray Insert: 13cm wide x 21.5cm long x 3cm deep lined in luxurious black suede.
- Beneath the tray are six sections also lined beautifully in black suede and featuring two ring holders.
Creating this stunning blackwood box has been a true labour of love for Craig, the skilled craftsman behind Bruce's Boxes. With many years of experience apprenticed under his late father Bruce, Craig has gained a deep knowledge of Tasmanian timbers.
He carefully selects only the finest grade materials, sustainably sourced in Tasmania, for his creations. The blackwood arrives seasoned and ready to be machined to precise dimensions. Just like his father, Craig meticulously colour matches each component to ensure the best combination for every box he makes.
Blackwood is a native Tasmanian hardwood which appears in a rich variety of colours with a stunning grain that can be straight or wavy. It has a lustrous appearance and is a strong, long lasting timber. This solid timber box with its full length brass piano hinge is a beautiful Tasmanian timber gift for your loved one.
